CytoTools AG is an investment and holding company in the technology sector. It originated from CytoTools GmbH, a successful German technology enterprise from the pharmaceuticals and medical products field. The fundamentally new scientific discoveries of CytoTools AG, which represent the results of many years of intensive research, have led to the foundation of three associated companies where the product development for the different indication complexes is carried out. CytoTools AG holds a share of 49.9 % in DermaTools Biotech GmbH (therapy range - dermatology), 24.7% in TemplaTech GmbH (therapy range – urinary tract infections) and 46% in CytoPharma GmbH (therapy range – cardiovascular disease). The complete know-how is protected by corresponding basic patents which are maintained worldwide and which are transferred to the associated companies in the form of worldwide exclusive licenses. CytoTools AG generates its revenue on the one hand from license fees from the patents it holds, and on the other hand via the direct investments in the business operations of its various associated companies.

In the active substance and medical field, the CytoTools AG product portfolio and that of its associated companies are based on new innovative developments in health research. The causally effective approach of their products permits the healing of the origins of wound healing disturbances and cardiovascular disease. Accompanying trials have demonstrated a germicidal function of one of their active substances which permits additional uses in urological applications. In combination with an additionally developed medical product, this creates the basis for an effective and sustained healing of urinary tract infections.
